Rooted Hearts Center for Anxiety & OCD
Finding Calm in a Mind That Won’t Turn Off.
Anxiety can make the world feel overwhelming. OCD can make you feel trapped in cycles of thoughts, fears, rituals, or behaviors that are difficult to control. Panic can make your body feel like it is constantly on high alert.
At the Rooted Hearts Center for Anxiety & OCD, we understand that anxiety disorders are not simply about “worrying too much” or needing to “relax.” Anxiety affects the nervous system, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and daily functioning.
Our clinicians specialize in evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders and OCD across the lifespan. We provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to help children, adolescents, adults, and families understand anxiety, develop effective coping strategies, and reclaim their lives.
You do not have to organize your life around fear.
We Specialize In:

Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches
Our clinicians use specialized interventions supported by research to help individuals reduce anxiety and build long-term resilience.
Treatment may include:
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is considered a first-line treatment for OCD. It helps individuals gradually face feared thoughts, situations, or sensations while learning that anxiety can decrease without engaging in compulsive behaviors.
ERP may help with:
- Intrusive thoughts
- Compulsions
- Avoidance
- Reassurance seeking
- Fear-based behaviors
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior that maintain anxiety.
Skills may include:
- Challenging anxious predictions
- Building coping strategies
- Reducing avoidance
- Increasing confidence
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps individuals learn to make room for uncomfortable thoughts and feelings while moving toward what matters most.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT skills support:
- Emotional regulation
- Distress tolerance
- Mindfulness
- Interpersonal effectiveness
Mindfulness-Based Interventions
Learn to observe thoughts and sensations without becoming controlled by them.
Somatic & Nervous System Regulation
Anxiety lives in both the mind and body. We help clients develop skills to regulate the nervous system through:
- Grounding techniques
- Breathwork
- Body awareness
- Relaxation strategies
- Emotional regulation skills
Trauma-Informed Anxiety Treatment
For individuals whose anxiety is connected to trauma, attachment wounds, or past experiences, treatment incorporates approaches that address both current symptoms and underlying experiences.
Support Across the Lifespan
The Rooted Hearts Center for Anxiety & OCD provides specialized care for:
- Children
- Adolescents
- Emerging adults
- Adults
- Parents and families
We also provide support for parents who are learning how to respond to anxious behaviors without reinforcing anxiety cycles.
Reclaim Your Life From Anxiety
Anxiety often convinces people to shrink their world—to avoid, control, check, seek reassurance, or stay constantly prepared for danger.
Healing is not about eliminating every uncomfortable thought or feeling. It is about learning that anxiety does not have to control your choices.
At Rooted Hearts, we help you build confidence, resilience, and freedom so you can live the life you want—not the life anxiety allows.
You are more than your anxiety.
