Rooted Hearts Center for Neurodiversity & Inclusion
Understanding Differences. Celebrating Strengths. Creating Pathways to Thrive.
Every brain is unique.
At the Rooted Hearts Center for Neurodiversity & Inclusion, we recognize that differences in learning, attention, communication, sensory processing, and emotional regulation are not deficits—they are variations of human experience.
Our mission is to provide compassionate, affirming, and comprehensive support for neurodivergent children, adolescents, adults, and families. We help individuals better understand themselves, identify their strengths, access appropriate supports, and build lives where they can truly thrive.
Whether you are seeking an evaluation, navigating a new diagnosis, advocating within schools or workplaces, or looking for therapy that understands neurodivergent experiences, our team is here to help.
Comprehensive Neurodiversity Services
Autism Evaluations for Children, Adolescents & Adults
Many individuals reach adulthood—or even later childhood—without ever receiving an autism diagnosis. Others may recognize that traditional approaches have never fully addressed their experiences.
Our autism evaluations are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s strengths, challenges, communication style, sensory profile, social experiences, and developmental history.
Evaluations may help clarify:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Social communication differences
- Sensory processing differences
- Masking and camouflaging behaviors
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Social exhaustion and burnout
- Support needs across environments
We provide evaluations for:
- Children
- Adolescents
- Emerging adults
- Adults seeking answers later in life
ADHD Evaluations for Children, Adolescents & Adults
ADHD is more than difficulty paying attention. Many individuals experience challenges with executive functioning, emotional regulation, organization, motivation, and managing daily demands.
Our ADHD evaluations help identify patterns related to:
- Attention and focus
- Impulsivity
- Hyperactivity
- Executive functioning
- Time management
- Organization
- Working memory
- Emotional regulation
- Task initiation and completion
We evaluate ADHD across the lifespan, including individuals who may have been overlooked or misunderstood in childhood.
